Transformational Economics: Introduction to Mutual Aid Networks
Time Initiative of Maine and Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center are hosting Stephanie Rearick for an evening of collaboration and information-sharing on community development models, including TimeBanking, Co-ops, and Transition Towns.
Stephanie Rearick, the founder of Dane County TimeBank, one of the largest TimeBanks in the U.S., will be the featured speaker. The Transformational Economics forum will be from 6:00pm – 8:30 pm at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center in downtown Gardiner.
Stephanie Rearick is an activist with decades of experience in community organizing, complementary currency development and implementation, communications and marketing. Her work in establishing the Dane County TimeBank, Time For The World, building capacity within TimeBanks USA, and connecting TimeBanking with other community efforts lays a firm foundation for connecting with and expanding a broad, active, and diverse community of practice. Stephanie is primarily responsible for Time For The World outreach, organizing, and coordination of teaching.
Stacey Jacobsohn, the founder and director of T.I.ME, will facilitate and coordinate the event.
